Silica Fiber (Quartz) thimbles are made of pure quartz microfibers and are binder-free. Ideal for air sampling applications in temperatures up to 1000°C. Tapered for ease in loading into stack samplers. Heat-treated, item 1177C30 is pretreated at 900°C for 4hrs to stabilize weight.
