The APIS PIK3CA Mutations Kit is a real-time qualitative PCR test for the highly sensitive (≤0.5% MAF) detection of the five most prevalent activating mutations in the PIK3CA gene, using a sample of DNA extracted from either formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) breast tumour tissue or blood plasma (cfDNA).
The APIS PIK3CA Mutations Kit can be run alongside the APIS ESR1 qPCR Kit and APIS ESR1 Mutations Kit on the same plate to utilise sample testing efficiency.
