Petri Dishes
Petri dishes are suitable for a range of applications within the lab. They can be easily stacked and organized, keeping your workspace tidy. Petri dish sizes and shapes include shallow and flat shapes, allowing for easy observation of microbial or cell growth under a microscope. Many petri dishes carry vents within the lid facilities, proper air circulation, and can prevent condensation build-up, which could lead to contamination.
Screw-top petri dishes are often used for sample storage and are suitable for long-term storage options over extended periods.
