Microbiological Media

BBL Prepared Plated Media are for the isolation of microorganisms from samples or specimens. They are ready for immediate use. BD products are intended for sale/shipment within the US only. International customers should contact their local BD distributor to place orders for BD products.

For use in the selective enrichment and detection of Enterobacteriaceae, especially in foods.

HardyDisk™ AST’s are impregnated paper disks used for Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST); also known as disk diffusion or Kirby-Bauer testing. Each cartridge contains 50 disks that are spring loaded for smooth and reliable dispensing.

CRITERION™ Reinforced Clostridial Agar, for the cultivation and enumeration of clostridia and other anaerobic and facultative bacteria. Meets United States Pharmacopeia (USP), European Pharmacopoeia (EP), and Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP) performance specifications.
