Molecular Weight Markers

Molecular weight markers are ideal for applications such as estimating the size of DNA or protein samples, assessing DNA fragment lengths, quality control, and validation. Molecular weight markers also provide excellent quality control during gel electrophoresis experiments. Rainbow protein ladders can also assist with identifying problems and can indicate any potential issues with the sample preparation and gel conditions. They can also improve the accuracy of size estimations. Protein molecular weight markers are a scale for estimating the size of a molecular weight of an unknown DNA or protein sample. MW markers contribute to the reliability and reproducibility of experiments and aid in the interpretation and analysis of DNA. Molecular weight markers are available from Thomas Scientific in various sizes and formats suitable for various laboratory DNA measurements.
