Mode of action and Anti-microbial spectrum: Tetracycline is a bacteriostatic antibiotic with activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Within the cell tetracycline binds reversibly to the 30S subunit of the ribosome, preventing the binding of aminoacyl tRNA and inhibiting protein synthesis and hence cell growth.

Store dessicated at -20°C and protect from light.
