A REV-ERB agonist that increases the constitutive repression of genes regulated by REV-ERBα and REV-ERBβ (IC50s = 670 and 800 nM, respectively); decreases circadian locomotor activity during the dark phase and alters the expression pattern of core clock genes and metabolic genes; improves dyslipidemia and hyperglycemia in diet-induced obese mice.
