The Ricca Chemical sodium standard with a composition of 99.97% water and 0.03% sodium chloride, acts as a reducing agent as well as a catalyst in ion analysis. It is used in atomic absorption spectrometry. It can be stored at a temperature of 15 to 30 degree C.
