Antigen: human SIRT7 amino acids 35-51 and 361-377
Host: rabbit
Cross Reactivity: (+) human SIRT7
Application(s): WB
SIRT7 is a member of the sirtuin family of proteins, which are able to metabolize NAD+. Reports of histone-activated SIR2-mediated NAD+ metabolism and NAD+-activated SIR2-mediated histone deacetylation suggest a coupled reciprocal activation mechanism involving interactions of SIR2 with NAD+ and the N-ε-acetyl-lysine groups of acetylated histone.
