General description: Death Associated Protein Kinase (DAPK) is a 160 kD Ca2+/calmodulin-regulated Ser/Thr death kinase that is expressed mainly in tissues of embryonic and adult origin. It has a crucial role in programmed cell death as well as in autophagy. Monoclonal anti-phospho-DAP-kinase (pSer308) antibody can be used to study the mechanism of DAPK activation in apoptosis. It can also be used in microarray. Mouse anti-phospho-DAP-kinase (pSer308) antibody reacts specifically with DAP-kinase phosphorylated at Ser308 (approx.160 kD) in humans.
Application: Monoclonal anti-phospho-DAP-kinase (pSer308) antibody can be used in indirect ELISA, immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation. It can also be used in western blotting.
Immunogen: Phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acids 303-312 (pSer308) of human DAP-kinase, conjugated to KLH.
Physical form: Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
RIDADR: NONH for all modes of transport
