Synonyms: Monoclonal Anti-Human IgE
Storage: 2-8C
UNSPSC Code: 12352203
General description: Binds human IgE; does not bind human IgG, IgA or IgM.
General description: IgEs are glycoprotein antibodies that regulate immunological responses to allergies and infections. These immunoglobulins have been implicated in mediating Type I hypersensitivity reactions. Elevated IgE levels have been associated with hyper IgE syndrome and allergic asthma.
Application: Applications in which this antibody has been used successfully, and the associated peer-reviewed papers, are given below.Western Blotting (1 paper)
Application: Mouse monoclonal anti-human IgE-alkaline phosphatase antibody has been used for immunoblot assays. The antibody can also be used for direct ELISA (1:6000) and dot blot (1:1000) applications.
Application: To confirm that a chimaeric monoclonal antibody had episolon chain, an elisa was performed using monoclonal anti-human IgE antibody (clone GE1) at a 1:1000 dilution.
Physical form: Solution in 0.05 M Tris, pH 8.0, containing 1% bovine serum albumin, 1 mM MgCl2 and 15 mM sodium azide
Analysis Note: The antibody is tested for reactivity against myeloma IgE and allergy-elevated IgE.
RIDADR: NONH for all modes of transport
