General description: Cellular retinoic acid-binding protein 1 is a protein encoded by the CRABP1 gene in humans. It encodes a specific binding protein for a vitamin A family member. It is also referred as RBP5, CRABP, CRABPI and CRABP-I.
Application: Monoclonal Anti-Cellular Retinoic Acid Binding Protein 1 antibody produced in mouse is suitable for the following applications:. indirect ELISA. western blotting at a dilution of 1:1000 . immunofluorescence at a working dilution of 1:250
Application: Applications in which this antibody has been used successfully, and the associated peer-reviewed papers, are given below.Western Blotting (1 paper)
Biochem/physiol Actions: Cellular retinoic acid-binding protein 1 (CRABP1) is a prognostic marker for adenocarcinoma and clear cell carcinoma that exhibits chemo-resistance. It is a is a modulator of retinoic acid and plays an important role in retinoic acid-mediated differentiation and proliferation processes. CRABP1 also functions as a tumor-suppressor in esophageal epithelium and its epigenetic silencing may play a pivotal role during esophageal carcinogenesis.
Immunogen: performic acid oxidized CRABP 1, purified from bovine retina.
Physical form: Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide.
RIDADR: NONH for all modes of transport
