Application: Insulin-transferrin-sodium selenite, linoleic;oleic-BSA is used for serum-free cell culture applications.
Components: Contains 1.0 mg/ml recombinant human insulin, 0.55 mg/ml human transferrin (substantially iron-free), 0.5 μg/ml sodium selenite, 470 μg/ml linoleic acid, 470 μg/ml oleic acid and 50 mg/ml bovine serum albumin. Contains 2 moles each of linoleic acid and oleic acid per mole of albumin.
Preparation Note: Prepared in Earle′s Balanced Salt Solution (EBSS) without phenol red.
