Immunogen: peptide CIELKSELGRKWHKASN corresponding to residues 172-188 of human P2Y14 extracellular loop.

Physical form: Lyophilized from phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 1% BSA and 0.05% sodium azide.

Reconstitution: Reconstitute the lyophilized vial with 50 muL or 200 muL deionized water, depending on package size. Further dilutions should be made using a carrier protein such as BSA (1-3%).

Target description: P2Y14 belongs to the P2Y receptor family that is part of the G-protein coupled receptor superfamily. P2Y14 is expressed in several tissues including brain, lung, and several cells of hematopoietic origin such as T lymphocytes and dendritic cells. This receptor is apparently involved in chemotaxis, maturation of immature dendritic cells, and neuroimmune regulation.
