Biochem/physiol Actions: ALK-1 is a type I complex of the serine/threonine kinases. Type I and II receptors bind ligands in the TGF-beta superfamily. Human and mouse ALK-1 share approximately 71% amino acid sequence identity in their extracellular domains.

Physical form: Lyophilized from a 0.2 mum filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline.

Analysis Note: Can be used as a calibrator for ALK-1 antibodies.
