RS 504393 is a selective antagonist of the MCP-1 receptor CCR2 (IC50s = 89 nM and >100 μM for CCR2 and CCR1, respectively). It has been shown to inhibit MCP-1-stimulated chemotaxis (IC50 = 330 nM) and ischemia-reperfusion injury in kidneys.
