Application:
The preparation is used for DIG-labeling of:
• proteins
• 5′-amino-substituted oligonucleotides via amino groups (under gentle conditions)
• oligonucleotide sequence
General description:
Chemical reagent for the labeling of proteins and oligonucleotides. One reactive group is able to interact with NH2-groups (of proteins or oligonucleotides), another reactive group (Digoxigenin) reacts with Anti-Digoxigenin and thus can be detected.
Other Notes:
For life science research only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Preparation Note:
Working concentration: 1 to 5 mM
Working solution: Preparation of working solution
Under stirring 0.327 mg digoxigenin-3-O-methylcarbonyl- ε-aminocaproic acid -N-hydroxysuccinimide ester is dissolved in 8.18 μl DMSO or ethanol.
Principle:
The activated ester reacts with amino groups under mild conditions. The digoxigenin moiety can be introduced into proteins or 5′-amino substituted oligonucleotides.
