Application:
Colorimetric determination of β-Gal activity in cell extracts and ELISA.
General description:
CPRG is a long-wavelength dye which is commonly used for colorimetric assays. The reaction product has a dark red color and is soluble in water. It can be evaluated photometrically at 574 or 578 nm.
The chemical formula on the label represents the monosodium salt.
