ReleaseIt ß-Agarase has a high tolerance to inhibitors in electrophoretic buffers such as TBE and TAE, eliminating the need to perform a buffer exchange step before digestion. ReleaseIt ß-Agarase has higher thermostability than other commercially available ß-agarases, with a broad range of activity between 42°C to 50°C and optimum performance at 50°C. Higher temperature digestion reduces the chances of residual agarose gelling at the end of the reaction, resulting in higher recovery of DNA or RNA.
Benefits:
• Complete digestion of agarose, with no agarose fragments left after the digestion
• Obtain DNA or RNA faster - no buffer exchange needed, with direct digestion in TAE or TBE
• Flexible temperature range, digest within the optimal temperature range of 42°C to 50°C
• Heat inactivation at 65 °C for 20 minutes
