• Polymer architecture: Dendron• End Group Functionality: NHBoc• bis-MPA = 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid
Synonyms: Bis-MPA dendron; NHS-NHBoc dendron
Molecular Formula: C51H81N5O24
Molecular Weight: 1148.21
Linear Structural Formula: C51H81N5O24
Storage: -20C
Application: Bis-MPA dendritic molecules are based on 2,2-bismethylolpropionicacid (bis-MPA) building blocks. The hydrolysable linkers presented in this type of polymers allows their degradation into byproducts that can be reabsorbed by the body or into excretable non-toxic small molecules. Therefore, this group of dendritic polymers are biocompatible and biodegradable, making them suitable for biomedical applications. The NHBoc-functionalized corona and NHS-functionalized core of this product can be readily used in bioconjugation reactions.
