Instrumental Test Kit K-8053 comes in a cardboard box and contains everything needed to perform 30 tests: thirty ampoules, 25 mL sample cup, ampoule blank, 1 bottle of S-8000 activator, and instructions.
The S-8000 Phenol Activator Solution is dosed into the sample prior to analysis. Legacy versions came in the form of orange crystals on the ampoule tip, the activator reagent is now supplied as a solution.
This kit requires the use of a CHEMetrics Direct-Readout Photometer or a spectrophotometer capable of accepting a 13 mm diameter round cell. Instrument sold separately.
