Marprene is Watson-Marlow's exclusive thermoplastic elastomer. Always our first recommendation, Marprene is the longest-life tubing with a wide chemical compatibility, and is highly resistant to oxidizing agents such as ozone and peroxides and sodium hypochlorite. Marprene is beige in color, opaque to both visible and ultra-violet light, with low permeability to gases such as oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen, and meets USDA standards for food handling. Working temperature range 5C to 80C. Autoclavable.
