Impervious gowns are designed for use in fluid-intensive settings where being splashed, sprayed or soaked with fluids is a high probability.
The impervious material, blue polyethylene-coated spunbonded polypropylene, has been tested and meets ASTM F1670 (synthetic blood penetration) and ASTM F1671 (viral penetration) standards.
Gowns are available in either open-back with knit cuffs or half-back with knit cuffs or thumbhooks. Half-back gowns are packed 10 per bag, 10 bags per case. Open-back gowns are packed 10 per bag, 6 bags per case.
