Biochem/physiol Actions
Hyaluronidase degrades hyaluronan and has been found to be inappropriately regulated during cancer progression.1,2
These enzymes randomly cleave ß-N-acetylhexosamine-[1?4] glycosidic bonds in hyaluronic acid, chondroitin, and chondroitin sulfates.
