This product consists of ZFN engineered HepaRG 5F clone control cells. They are intended for use as both control cells for HepaRG(TM) knockout cells as well as for a wide variety of liver cell based assays. Hepa RG cells display hepatocyte-like functions and can be a replacement to primary human hepatocytes in a number of drug metabolism, disposition and genotoxicity studies.
