Application(s): WB
HDAC7 is a class IIa HDAC that plays a specific role in maintaining vascular integrity by repressing the expression of matrix metalloproteinase 10. It promotes repression mediated by transcriptional corepressor NCOR2 and is an efficient corepressor of the androgen receptor. It is also responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones.
