Felbamate

Felbamate is an antiepileptic drug that is effective against seizures in a variety of animal models. It has inhibitory effects at NMDA (Item No. 14581) and GABAA receptors and at voltage-gated channels. Adverse effects in humans, as well as drug interactions and significant side effects, has resulted in limited utility.
