Blood Agar, 5%/EMB Agar Biplate

(TSA with 5% Sheep Blood / Eosin Methylene Blue Agar). A two-section Petri plate. Ideal for the detection of urinary tract infections. EMB is selective for gram negative bacteria and will differentiate between lactose and non-lactose fermentors. Also, most Candida spp will grow on EMB.
