Bisdemethoxycurcumin

A natural demethoxy derivative of curcumin; activates macrophage phagocytosis and, with 1α,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3, stimulates amyloid-β clearance by macrophages (optimal stimulation at 100 nM BDMC); suppresses proliferation in cancer cells; down-regulates p300 and inhibits LPS-induced iNOS expression.
