Bio-bins are a new cost effective and convenient alternative to rigid plastic waste collection and disposal containers. Ideal for use in academic, clinical, government and industrial laboratories for a wide range of non-sharps biomedical and laboratory waste that require special heat treatment such as autoclaving or incineration before disposal. Items such as microbiological loops, pipettes, tips, test tubes, swabs and vials are ideal for disposal by this method.
2.5L model is ideal for use with loops. 6L Bio-bin is specially designed to organize pipettes efficiently for disposal. New 5L benchtop option is the ideal space saving design for lab use. 30L floor model is ideal for larger amounts of clinical waste created in the laboratory, hospital and community settings.
Stainless steel U, Z and M support stands are also available. The 6L pipette model box is used with Z stand for floor or bench use and the U stand is for holding the bins at an angle in biological safety cabinets. The M-stand is available for 5L bench top Bio-bin and also 30L upon request.
