The Bacteria Lysis Kit is used with the IBI Tri-Isolate Kit when extracting RNA from bacteria samples.
Bacterial cell walls are initially lysed by lysozyme, followed by the bacterial lysis buffer. The sample is then homogenized with the IBI Isolate reagent contained in the Tri-Isolate kit.
