Synonyms: Anti-ALS10; Anti-TARDBP; Anti-TARDP43; Anti-Tar DNA binding protein 43
Storage: -20C
UNSPSC Code: 12352203
Application: Anti-TDP-43 antibody produced in rabbit may be used to tag Tar DNA binding protein 43 (TDP-43, TARDP43, ALS10), a heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP), for detection and quantitation by Western blotting, immunoblotting or immunofluorescence and in tissue by immunohistochemical (IHC) techniques. Anti-TDP-43 antibody is used as a probe to determine the roles of TDP-43 in the generation and processing of RNA, including transcription, splicing, transport and stability. Anti-TDP-43 antibody may be used in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD-TDP) research.
Immunogen: synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 181-198 of human TDP-43, conjugated to KLH. The corresponding sequence is highly conserved (single amino acid substitution) in mouse and rat TDP-43.
Physical form: Solution in 0.01 M phosÂphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
