Biochem Physiol Actions: Sineoculis homeobox homolog (SIX1) mediates apoptosis, autophagy and regulates resistance to the drug in hepatocellular carcinoma. It is highly expressed in colorectal cancer and promotes tumor progression. Abnormal expression of SIX1 is associated with Hodgkin lymphoma and breast cancer.
