Biochem Physiol Actions: SAMSN1 (SAM domain, SH3 domain, and nuclear localization signals 1), also known as HACS1/SLY2/NASH1, is a member of a family of three adapter proteins that are highly homologous and characterized by the presence of protein-protein interaction domains. The SAMSN1 gene localizes to the 21q11.2 region on human chromosome 21. The transcript of SAMSN1 has been found in acute myeloid leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma cell-lines.
