RNF125 (ring finger protein 125), a E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase has a RING finger domain in the N-terminus and three zinc-bindings and one ubiquitin-interacting motif in the C-terminus. This gene is located on human chromosome 18q12.
Synonyms: Anti-Flj20456; Anti-Ring finger protein 125
Storage: -20C
Application: Anti-RNF125 antibody has been used in immunohistochemistry.
Biochem Physiol Actions: RNF125 (ring finger protein 125) acts as a positive regulator in the T-cell receptor-signaling pathway. It stimulates the degradation and suppression of p53. RNF125 plays a major role in lymph node metastasis of colorectal cancer. It stimulates the invasion and metastasis of human gallbladder cancer. In primary human peripheral blood mononuclear cells, RNF125 downregulates HIV-1 (human immunodeficiency virus type 1) replication. Mutations in RNF125 results in a new overgrowth syndrome.
