Biochem Physiol Actions: NR2F2 is an orphan nuclear receptor that plays an important role in metabolism and development. The crosstalk between NR2F2 and the transcription factor HNF4a is involved in regulation of insulin secretion and maintenance of glucose homeostasis. NR2F2 collaborates with OCT4 and miR-302 in differentiation of human embryonic stem cells and specification of neural ectoderm during development.
