Kelch-like family member 24 (KLHL24) belongs to kelch-like (KLHL) protein family and has N-terminal broad-complex proteins (BTB) domain, a central BACK domain (for BTB and C-terminal Kelch) followed by C-terminal Kelch domains.
Synonyms: Anti-DRE1; Anti-FLJ20059; Anti-kelch-like 24 (Drosophila)
Storage: -20C
Application: Anti-KLHL24 antibody produced in rabbit has been used in the detection of KLHL24 in human embryonic kidney 293 cells by western blotting.
Biochem Physiol Actions: Kelch-like family member 24 (KLHL24) plays a key role in regulation of cytoskeleton interactions, ubiquitination and gene expression. Mutation in KLHL24 impairs intermediary filament organisation which inturn impacts skin integrity. Mutations of KLHL24 also results in a N-terminal truncated protein which is associated with skin disorder, epidermolysis bullosa simplex.
