Interferon regulatory factors are transcription factors that regulate the expression of interferon system. The activity of IRF-8 has been implicated in vascular diseases.
Synonyms: Anti-Interferon regulatory factor 8
Storage: -20C
Application: Anti-IRF8 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 0.5-2 mug/ml. For immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded tissue sections, a concentration of 4-8 mug/ml is suitable.
Biochem Physiol Actions: IRF-8 regulates the activity of myocardin and modulates the phenotype of smooth muscle cells. It regulates the development and function of T cells, B cells and macrophages. IRF-8 induces the production of type 1 interferons in dendritic cells.
