Forkhead box protein I1a (FOXI1), also known as HNF-3/fork-head homolog 3, is a transcriptional activator with a DNA binding motif and belongs to forkhead-box (FOX) family. The FOXI1 is mapped to human chromosome 5q35.1.
Synonyms: FKHL10; FREAC6
Storage: -20C
Application: Anti-FOXI1 antibody produced in rabbit has been used for the detection of FOXI1 in human bronchial epithelial cells using immunofluorescence technique.
Biochem Physiol Actions: Forkhead box protein I1a (FOXI1) regulates the function of vacuolar ATPases in endolymphatic epithelium in ear, epididymis and kidney. The interaction of FoxI1 with microRNA, miR-491-5p, wingless/integrated (wnt) and ß-catenin plays an important role in the progression of gastric cancer.
