The Leucine-rich repeats (LRRs) are highly versatile and evolvable protein-ligand interaction motifs. It is found in a large number of proteins with diverse functions that include innate immunity and nervous system development. The protein interacts with various regulatory proteins and may have a role in cell polarity.
