ELF1 is known to function as a transcription factor that regulates the Tie2 gene during blood vessel development. Elf1 has also been implicated in the regulation of terminal transferase gene.Rabbit Anti-ELF1 (AB2) antibody recognizes rat, human, bovine, canine, and mouse ELF1.
Synonyms: Anti-E74-like factor 1 (ets domain transcription factor)
Storage: -20C
Application: Rabbit Anti-ELF1 (AB2) antibody is suitable for use in western blot (1mug/ml) applications.
Biochem Physiol Actions: ELF1 belongs to the ETS family. It contains 1 ETS DNA-binding domain. ELF1 is a transcription factor that activates the LYN and BLK promoters. It appears to be required for the T-cell-receptor-mediated trans activation of HIV-2 gene expression. ELF1 binds specifically to two purine-rich motifs in the HIV-2 enhancer.
