Biochem Physiol Actions: EBF2 belongs to the EBF/COE family of transcription factors that contain well-conserved DNA-binding domain. EBF factors play important regulatory roles in various developmental processes and in differentiation of osteoblasts. EBF2 is critical in the generation and migration of Cajal-Retzius neurons during early cortical neurogenesis in cerebral cortex.
