Synonyms: Anti-CDC45-related protein; Anti-CDC45L; Anti-Cdc45; Anti-PORC-PI-1
Storage: -20C
Application: Anti-CDC45L antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project (www.proteinatlas.org). Each antibody is tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues. These images can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. The antibodies are also tested using immunofluorescence and western blotting. To view these protocols and other useful information about Prestige Antibodies and the HPA, visit sigma.com/prestige.
Biochem Physiol Actions: CDC45 (cell division cycle 45) is an essential protein in the initiation of chromosomal DNA replication. It is a component of the multiprotein complex consisting of Cdc6/Cdc18, the minichromosome maintenance proteins (MCMs) and DNA polymerase. It interacts with MCM7 and DNA polymerase a and assists in the loading of DNA polymerase a onto chromatin. It is ubiquitylated and degraded during apoptosis. Deletion of CD45 gene causes DiGeorge syndrome with parathyroid hypoplasia, thymic aplasia, or hypoplasia and congenital cardiac abnormalities.
