Application: Diisooctylthiophosphinic acid is suitable for use in the colorimetric determination of airborne lead. It may be used as chelating agent for supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) of metals, for subsequent ICP-MS analyses of mercury, cadmium and lead in sediment.
