AccuGENE™Saline-sodium-phosphate-EDTA Buffer is a standard reagent in Southern and Northern hybridization procedures. The addition of sodium phosphate helps keep this buffer more isotonic; it is more often used in RNA blotting but still has some uses in southern blotting.
