A stable analog of adenosine that acts as an agonist for adenosine receptors (Ki = 0.3, 0.08, 25.5, and 1.9 μM for A1, A2A, A2B, and A3 receptors, respectively); modulates neurotransmission release and blocks seizures by activating adenosine receptors.
