Softeners in the Model S Series are designed to produce a large volume of high quality softened water. Each softener has a faucet adapter that easily connects to any faucet. As water passes through the chamber, the resin column causes scale-forming calcium and magnesium ions to be exchanged for non-scale-forming sodium ions.
- The 8” resin column (10.25” total height) will soften about 70 gallons of medium hard water, before the resin requires replacement or regeneration
- Inexpensive resin refill packages are available, or the original resin can be regenerated by chemical treatment
