When I call Day Associates, will it now be answered by Thomas Scientific Customer Service?
- Yes! Thomas Scientific has merged the customer service teams from both companies in order to give our customers a higher level of service and quicker response times to meet their needs.
Do I still have a Day Associates Account number?
- Your customer account number IS changing. Please contact customer service or your sales representative to obtain your new account number.
What about my open order that I have with Day Associates?
- Day Associates completed as many open orders and open POs as possible, prior to integration. Any remaining open orders or open POs were merged into Thomas Scientific’s order entry system to include any pertinent information to ensure that all orders are delivered in a timely manner.
How will my blanket orders be handled going forward?

Can I continue to use my internal part number to order my products?
- You will need to use the official Day or Thomas part numbers to order all products. Please reach out to your sales representative or customer service for assistance.
Can I use the same fax number to place orders? Is Thomas Scientific receiving them now?
- Thomas Scientific is re-directing all faxes sent to Day Associates to the appropriate Thomas Scientific fax number.
Is Thomas Scientific receiving my orders that I emailed to Day Associates?
- Thomas Scientific is rerouting all orders emailed to Day Associates to the enhanced Thomas/Day customer service team.
Will I have the same sales representative?
- We know the sales representative relationship is important to our customers. There have been very little adjustments made on accounts. Please reach out to the Sales Representative you know and trust today, and they will be happy to assist you.
How does the purchase of Day Associates by Thomas Scientific impact me?
- The purchase of Day Associates opens up a world of additional products and suppliers to all Day Associates customers. Not only will you have access to the high quality products you bought before, you now have access and the ability to purchase the hundreds of thousands of items available in the Thomas Scientific distribution network.
Will this acquisition have an impact on delivery of my product?
- Yes, and in a Good way! Thomas Scientific will now have multiple locations that we can ship from with the purchase of Day Associates. Thomas Scientific continues to analyze the customer base and is moving any necessary inventory in order to bring faster delivery to our customers.
What will it say in my invoices?
- Good question! As we take final steps to complete this full integration, Invoices will be shifting from Day Associates to Thomas Scientific. When will this happen? Although we can't provide you with an exact date at this time, we will be updating these details in the days to come. Only after complete integration will any updating on invoices and/or other official forms take place. Stay tuned for more details.
Which website should I use to get product information?
- The Day Associate website is being shut down. Please refer to the Thomas Scientific website: www.thomassci.com
How do I set up a new web profile on ThomasSci.Com?
- This can be completed in 5 steps. You will need your Thomas account number prior to setting up your online profile. Please contact your sales representative or Thomas Customer Service to obtain your new account number.
- Step 1: Visit the Website
- Step 2: Create Login Credentials
- Under NEW CUSTOMERS, enter your First Name, Last Name, Email, and Password.
- Select I am purchasing on behalf of an organization
- Check the box agreeing to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy
- Click the CREATE PROFILE button

- Step 3: Enter Company Information
- Fill in the required company details
- Important: Be sure to include your account number

- Step 4: Complete Registration
- Submit your infomation
- You will now be logged into your new profile on ThomasSci.com

- Step 5: Account Linking Timeline
- Allow up to 24 hours for your web profile to link with your business account
- If your profile is not linked after 24 hours, contact: [email protected]
