An endogenous CB found in brain, liver, and other mammalian tissues found to have anti-anaphylactic and anti-inflammatory activity in vitro; an endocannabinoid that significantly elevates cAMP in cells expressing CB2 receptors; demonstrates low affinity for the CB2 receptor, at about 10 µM, and no appreciable affinity for the CB1 receptor.
