A second generation analog of amiloride that inhibits TRPP3-mediated Ca2+-activated (IC₅₀ = 0.14 μM) and ENaC (IC₅₀ = 10 nM); inhibits active sodium transport of human and ovine bronchial epithelial cells (IC₅₀s = 75 and 116 nM, respectively).
